What is an FDES?

The FDES (Fiche de Déclaration Environnementale et Sanitaire) is France's environmental product declaration (EPD). It measures a construction product's impacts over its whole life cycle, from raw material extraction to end of life, following NF EN 15804+A2 and its national complement.

Verified by an independent third party and published in the INIES database, FDES feed the life cycle assessment that France's RE2020 requires for new buildings.
